WARP STUDIO 54: A gem to be discovered!
Submitted by Miguel on Tue, 07/05/2011 - 22:22
I received an invitation to visit a newly opened gallery from one of my favorite artist,
the gorgeous, Christian Develter.
As you may know from my past article about him, Christian's vibrant canvases hang on
walls of prestigious homes, offices and hotels from Bangkok to New York .
I proudly hang my portrait at my Houston office so my new staff knows who signs
their paychecks! lol
The Belgian-born now Bangkok-based artist expanded his horizons
by opening WARP STUDIO 54.
Right across the sub-soi of P.Tendercool (my one and only table designer/maker),
WARP Studio 54 was created to provide a place for Develter to work
without restrictions nor boundaries, as many of his pieces are larger than life. *wink*
Thus, I called Christian recently to give me more juicy details about WARP Studio 54.
I asked him, Why call it WARP STUDIO 54? WARP (named after Star Trek technology,
yes he is a Trekker!)
Studio 54 (named after the famous club where Anderson Cooper's mother,
Gloria Vanderbilt, partied..am serious!)
He added: " WARP brings you to the past, present and future.
Same goes with the various works of art.
While Studio 54 is a symbol of being free, decadent and lively. And again, so is art."

Christian adds, "I really get inspired by this location--accessible by the river, right on the border of Chinatown, close to the several five star hotels, and easy to find. It's a real hidden gem in the bustling city of Bangkok and we like to keep it that way; this is a place one must discover."

WARP Studio 54 is open to other artist as well and can be used to host fancy events.
You need to contact Christian for more details asap, because the venue is fast becoming fully booked. Hurry!
Congratulations, Christian! See you at WARP STUDIO 54 in September and let's party!
